On Tuesday, 30 June 2026, the Faculty of Islamic Studies at the University of Sarajevo held an official farewell reception for Ms. Yarah Elshaer, English Language Lecturer, who was engaged at the Faculty from 22 September 2025 to 5 July 2026.
The farewell gathering was attended by Professor Aid Smajić, PhD, Vice Dean for International Cooperation; Professor Amina Arnautović, PhD, English Language Professor; Dr. Fatima Kadić, Librarian; and Ms. Emina Kadić, Professional Associate for Teaching Practice and Practicum in Religious Pedagogy and Religious Psychology.
During the meeting, the participants expressed their sincere appreciation to Ms. Elshaer for her dedicated work and successful cooperation throughout the 2025/2026 academic year. They also reflected on her experiences, impressions, and achievements during her engagement at the Faculty. Particular emphasis was placed on the valuable contribution she made to enhancing English language instruction and strengthening the Faculty’s international cooperation.
As a token of appreciation for her commitment and contribution to the Faculty, Professor Aid Smajić, PhD, Vice Dean for International Cooperation, presented Ms. Elshaer with a commemorative gift on behalf of the Faculty of Islamic Studies.
We extend our best wishes to Ms. Yarah Elshaer for continued success in her professional and personal life and hope that the memories of her time at the Faculty of Islamic Studies, University of Sarajevo, will remain a lasting foundation for future meetings and collaborative projects.
